Conduction of different bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) strains in a sustainable transition system.

Abstract:
The unregulated use of chemicals in common bean crops is a problem that has become worse in recent years (GONZALEZ, 2018). The objective of this study will be to evaluate a sustainable transition system of different common bean strains. (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). In order to improve the use of alternative ways of caring and maintaining the crop. Thus, ten common bean strains were grown in the Southwestern region of the state of Sao Paulo from March to December 2019, under transition from the conventional to the sustainable production system, with the substitution and reduction of the use of chemical inputs. Agronomic efficiency data will be obtained from the measurements of stem diameter, leaf number and plant height, and the results will be processed from statistical analysis. The response variables will be evaluated by analysis of variance (ANOVA). Afterwards, the treatments will be grouped from the production responses by the Scott-Knott method. The productive efficiency of each variety will be studied based on the most productive genotype. Thus, we can conclude that it is possible to conduct the use of pesticides in the bean crop in a rationalized way, being sustainable and without loss of productive efficiency in different strains.
